A typical Saturday includes:
9:00–9:30 — Arrival + Morning Snack
9:30–10:30 — Morning Mindset Session
10:30–12:00 — Skills Lab
12:00–12:25 — Snack Break
12:25–1:00 — Wellness Wind Down
TRIPS & EXPERIENCES
Learning doesn't only happen inside Skills Lab.
Youth may have opportunities to participate in:
College Tours • Company Visits • Museums • Career Experiences • Outdoor Adventures • Community Activities
Parents will receive information and permission requirements before applicable trips.
Additional fees may apply.
SAFETY & SUPERVISION
Your child's safety matters.
- Staff and instructors are screened/background checked as appropriate
- Youth are supervised during programming
- Age-appropriate groups and activities
- Clear behavior and safety expectations
- Parent/guardian authorization required for applicable trips and activities
- Emergency contact information maintained for participants
SKILLS2PAY
From Learning to Earning
Youth who have been enrolled in Skills Lab for at least six months may become eligible to apply for Skills2Pay, our paid project and work-experience pathway.
Participation is based on readiness, attendance, program expectations and available opportunities.

Consistency matters.
Skills Lab is designed around ongoing skill development and 90-day learning cycles, so regular attendance helps youth get the most from the program.
Parents should notify UpSkill when a youth will be absent. Youth should arrive by 9:00 AM and be picked up promptly at 1:00 PM unless otherwise communicated.
SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
We Want Skills Lab to Be Accessible.
Skills Lab membership is $150 per month, but scholarship support may be available for eligible families.
Youth scholarships cover the monthly Skills Lab membership.
Families interested in assistance can complete a short eligibility form to see what options may be available.
